Club Members Learn important job skills at "Camp Old Navy"

Teen Club Members joined the staff at Old Navy in White Marsh today for "Camp Old Navy," where they learned about the different careers available to them when they enter the workforce. "Camp Old Navy" features a fun-filled day of behind the scenes operations at Old Navy stores and offers a chance for teens to work side-by-side with store employees and managers. Teens learned important job skills such as punctuality, customer service, and the value of hard work.

Edgewood, Maryland (10/19/2010) – United States Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) toured the Edgewood Boys & Girls Clubs today to view the impact from federal dollars through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The celebrity was brought to the farm fair thanks to Walter G. Coale, Inc., a locally owned company in Churchville. While at the Walter G. Coale tent at the farm fair Lopez signed autographs and posed for pictures with his fans, including members of the Boys and Girls club of Harford County. Lopez says he was once a member of a Boys and Girls club.

On Wednesday June 30, 2010 over 100 members form Harford County Boys and Girls Club joined Mr. George Mullin, member of the Board of Directors to his home in Street, MD. Throughout the day the kids were able to explore and enjoy fishing, swimming, exotic animal show, pony rides, nature walks and much more. Mr. Mullin also provided free food for the the club members courtsey of Chesapeake Quality.
